I want to make your turkey corn chowder but have only 1 cup of turkey! I ate turkey sandwiches before receiving this recipe!
What can I use to add to the recipe other than increase the corn or potatoes?
Help! Thanks!
Hi! Do you have any leftover chicken you could use? Diced thick-cut bacon would also work wonderfullyโjust cook it at the beginning for 4 to 5 minutes before adding the butter to build an even richer flavor base. If you donโt have those, you could also toss in some cubed ham.
Do the British thing (irony, I know) and make a turkey pot pie. Pieces of turkey, broth, cream, peas and carrots in a pie shell topped with a pastry sheet. And don’t forget garlic, salt and pepper. The absolute best.
We actually had a very peaceful Thanksgiving, thankfully. We kind of have a bit of a politically polarized family at the moment, but everyone behaved themselves. ๐
And these are all great recipe ideas for those Thanksgiving leftovers!
All of these ideas look delicious and have me ready to go grab all my leftovers and get to work in the kitchen! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving, Kate ๐
I didn’t cook this year so I sadly have no leftovers. That said, I’m going to cook a turkey with all the trimmings in December and then I can use some of these recipes.
Love all the recipes posted. I wish my Thanksgiving turkey (Canadian so it was in October) wasn’t long gone. The potato patties really caught my eye. And any soup with turkey is always a winner.

I also put a layer of the stuffing just under the crust…delicious. It doesn’t do much for the waist band though.
Wonderful assortment of ‘leftovers’ that may be tastier/more fun that the original meal.
Leftovers are totally my jam. I live for this time of year!
