Pesto Ham and Cheese Rollups Recipe – Quick, delicious, easy party food with refrigerated crescents dough, ham, cheese and basil pesto. You’re only 5 ingredients away from your next favorite bite!
Expect that everyone will want a piece of THESE.
Hi, there! Happy Super Bowl Sundaaaaay!
Da Bears!
I make joke. Stop laughing.
A little birdy told me that I should put my money on the Panthers. Apparently, Peyton hasn’t been that “hot”. However, the same birdy told me to put my money on the Bears when the season started, and I don’t see any darn bears in the Super Bowl… I think that’s the last time I listen to the Internet.
By the way, I’m SUPER surprised that I actually KNOW who is playing in the Super Bowl. I may even watch it! Are the New Kids On The Block doing the half-time show? ‘Cause then, I’m definitely watching!
More than anything, I’m just honestly looking forward to hanging out with some friends and chomping down on these Pesto Ham and Cheese Rollups.
In a more perfect world, I would share these with YOU over a gigantic, salty rimmed, ice filled margaritas. That’d be FUN!
So you guys know how we always need a recipe that is so quick and easy that you could actually make it in your sleep? That is THIS recipe. I have made a bunch of versions of these over the years, but my favorite one is actually not this one. HA! My fave is the one where I place the ham and cheese onto the crescent-triangles, roll ’em up, bake ’em, and serve them to my kids as “cows and pigs in a blanket”. Can I get that Mom of the Year Award, now?
Still, my favorite one to eat IS this one, right here. A layer of cheese slices, topped with thin ham slices, spread with dijon mustard and a dollop of basil pesto… SO good!! I’m pretty crazy over it. You’d be surprised how good dijon mustard goes with basil pesto. It’s amazing. Especially if you like a strong flavor. FYI! If you are not into strong flavors, then keep the dijon mustard out.
Moreover, if you are a HOT ham & cheese sandwich lover, then you are most definitely going to love these. Best part is that, as I said, this whole shebang is so quick and eaaaasy to make! I’d say, with baking time AND prep time? You should be done within 25 minutes. 30, if you want to take your sweet time.
Also? If you’re going to serve these at a party, double the recipe. Triple it, if you must. Trust me, they go quick!
Now, go awn. Have a fantastic Super Bowl Sunday and I hope YOUR team wins!
In the meantime, you should really make a few Pesto Ham and Cheese Rollups because, a little birdy told me that they’re a good luck charm.
ENJOY!

Gosh these look good. I made something similar this year for watching the game, but I really love your pesto addition. I’m going to have to remember that! Great idea!
Full of flavor and great appetizer.
I’d love to dig into that pan! The PESTO!!! Yum.
I would have never have thought to put Dijon with pesto but these look so good! I’m excited to try them! Food is usually the most important part of the game for me, but this year I had my team in it! I grew up in Colorado. 🙂 It was a fun night, that was for sure!
HOLY YUM! I am totally saving this recipe for next year…or tomorrow…or heck, heading to the kitchen now. 😉 Pinning!
What a delicious idea.
Ah! Delicious, delicious! These look like the perfect snack and beyond!
I’ll have beer with that and skip the game.
