Hey Hi Hello! Welcome to the Weekend Edition of Diethood, and THANK YOU for being here! ♥

Wasn’t that the busiest week of ever? Work, school for the lil’ ones, extracurricular activities for the same lil’ ones, plus more extracurricular activities, birthday parties, mommy drinkies… I mean, it was just non. stop. The weekend isn’t looking any better. More weddings and more birthday parties and more mommy drinkies.

I’m sitting here reflecting on all of that, and thinking about the fact that it really IS Fall. Like, Summer actually left. Like, damn. Fall is cool and all, but it’s what comes after Fall that has me shakin’ in my boots. Literally! ❄

Annnnnnd… you know you’re old an adult when you start complaining about the snow… kids love that stuff.

Something kids do not care about? What Mommies are cooking up in the kitchen. I can’t speak for everyone else, but mine certainly could care less about my kitchen shenanigans. So long as it’s not Spinach, Kale and Spaghetti Squash Fritters that I’m up to – oh well. MORE for ME! – and more of Jalapeno Macaroni and Cheese Cups, minus the Halapenyos, they are more than happy to join us at the dinner table.
Surprisingly? They really enjoyed those Skillet Biscuits with Garlic Basil Olives. Shocking, in fact.

Continuing with all of that deliciousness even today, and I don’t mean to be obvious, but we have some really amazing recipes going on in this week’s meal plan. Delicious simple recipes that are both easy and budget friendly. High Five!

Planning meals ahead has saved me time and money — and MY sanity. Don’t worry, I am here to help you do the same, starting with Monday’s Slow Cooker Cashew Chicken! We also have a wonderful Beer Braised Beef, MY Garlic Sauce Chicken (it’s SO good!), Slow Cooker Meat Sauce, BBQ Chicken Pasta Skillet, and a Mexican Chicken Soup. Our sides include Sauteed Mushrooms and Roasted Potatoes, and this week’s dessert is Chocolate Tacos (!!!!) and/or CARAMEL Apple Pie Bars!

I hope you will find a few new recipes to try! xoxo

ENJOY!
