Apple Avocado Salsa

If you’ve been around these parts for a while, then you might have noticed that I have a thing for salsas. If you are just tuning in for the first time, allow me to introduce you to Avocado Feta Salsa; Orange, Grape and Feta Salsa, and now Apple Avocado Salsa.

Yes, yes. I like salsa.

This amazingness, though…oh.my. 😍 Apple Avocado Salsa is a unique blend of chopped apples, avocado, tomatoes, onions, and poblano chile, all tossed in a sweet and refreshing honey-lime dressing. It’s an unconventional salsa that will bring a burst of freshness and excitement to the table.

You know what’s cool about this salsa? Well, it’s cool. Like chill. Like cold. And it’s summery. It screams, summer! Colorful, fresh, real, raw. Doesn’t get healthier than that, my peeps.

How To Prepare Salsa with Apples and Avocado

The secret behind the magic of this salsa is the brilliant combination of ingredients. Starting with the apples – their sweet, slightly tart flavor adds a delightful crispness that contrasts beautifully with the creaminess of the avocados. The apples also hold up well, adding a satisfying crunch to every bite.

And last but not least, the honey-lime dressing. This is where the salsa really comes to life. The zingy lime juice cuts through the richness of the avocado, while the honey adds a touch of natural sweetness that rounds out the flavors. Together, they create a dressing that’s refreshing, tangy, and sweet – the perfect complement to the hearty ingredients.

Also, exactly how much of this treat I can spoon into my mouth all at once is a secret. I thank the Lawd nobody was home when I first made this because the whole scene was plain barbaric. I wasn’t even worried about a spoon. My hands were my spoon.

Serving Suggestions for Apple Avocado Salsa

One more thing. This salsa isn’t just delicious, but it’s also versatile. It’s perfect for scooping up with tortilla chips, topping off grilled chicken or this amazing grilled salmon, or even as a refreshing side salad. Its vibrant colors and fresh flavors make it a great addition to any meal, especially during the warmer months.

Get your chopping knives ready and a bag of tortilla chips. Or corn chips.

HAPPY WEEKEND!

ENJOY!
