Happy Meatless Monday!! My Keurig is filled to the rim, but I think I need an IV filled with coffee to wake me up this fine morning.

Guess how incredibly lame the husband and I are. We’re old and we can’t hang. The party animals we once were are long gone.

Saturday night we went out with the intentions to bar-hop all night long… we barely made it past 10:30 p.m. Both yawning and complaining about the loud music… we were pathetic. What’s worse is that just after two pina coladas, I was slurring my words and practically falling asleep while standing. Booooo…

So that’s that. Maybe I was just really tired… 😉

In other news, though, I made you Pina Colada FLOATS! How else am I to welcome the first official week of Summer?!
I’m so excited that it’s finally here! I’m treating everyone to Pina Coladas and ice cream!!

The only things I love more than ice cream AND lightweight sweeter-than-cake booze are my children! 😀

I think this Float is my new summertime “snack'”. Mentally, I am ready to enjoy this beauty each and every day during this hot season.  “Mentally” – key word. The first paragraph of this post explains it all…

But, yeah, this real life, concentrate-mixer inspired dessert has all the ingredients that my little heart desires on a hot summer day.

Seriously? In my perfect world, ice cream would always be Vanilla and it would be without calories.
Also? Pina Coladas and Chardonnay would be the only things pouring out of the kitchen faucet.

Looks delicious! I’m curious how the calories come out to 46 however. When I calculate it it comes to approximately 185 calories BEFORE adding the ice cream.

Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention! From what I can tell, the nutrition calculator was set to count for 8 servings instead of 4. :-/

oh my gosh!!! I’m usually a chocolate freak!!! BUT, with it being 100 degrees out, tropical fruit is totally my thing. So this need to be in my life right now.

Too funny about going out to the bars. It’s hit or miss with me but Friday nights are usually pretty bad. One drink with dinner and I’m falling asleep 10 minutes into any movie we start. The photos for this colada float are gorgeous!!

This recipe…BOMB! Your post..hilarious!!! Sign me up for the pina colada faucet! And trust me you’re not the only one who can’t hang anymore. At least you made it to two drinks. One has been my limit for a while now, otherwise I just embarrass myself! Pinning this!

Hhahah we are very alike in the late night hours. I always have every intention to be a party animal until I actually get out. The music is SO loud and I get ridiculously tired after one cocktail. Must be strong cocktails 🙂 This float is beautiful! Will enjoy on my couch!!

Simply amazing! Is there any other way to celebrate summer?! I think I have a can of this in my freezer right next to some ice cream. This is definitely being made tonight!

You are hilarious. Matt and I are the same way. We never last long and it doesn’t take many drinks for us to get to that sleepy stage. 🙂

    The float looks wonderful!

Too funny, we are the same way! Loved reading that. And by the way, this looks sooooo good this morning. But I will have to wait.

I definitely have already done some recipe testing with booze…and then I saw that you posted a delicious, boozy recipe.
    Clearly, we win at Mondays.
I love Pina Coladas, so this float has my name all over it! Pinned!
