This festive Red, White, and Blue No Bake Tiramisu recipe is made with layers of soft ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone filling, and fresh red and blue berries. A no-bake dessert perfect for summer celebrations!

Red, White and Blue Tiramisu – yep, it rhymes, and yep, it’s incredible.
Okay, you guys. THIS tiramisu? Next-level good. Like, make-it-once-and-bring-it-to-every-summer-party kind of good.
Anyway, last night I hit my limit. I had a dramatic moment over why no one ever makes me dinner, and after spiraling into hangry indecision, I ended up devouring four servings of my fantastic Cajun fries. And then? A big ol’ slice of this tiramisu. Instant mood-lifter. Never underestimate the power of dessert.
Ingredients For No Bake Tiramisu
It’s officially summer, which means no-bake desserts are basically a requirement. Between the creamy, Frangelico-flavored filling and those espresso-soaked ladyfingers, this red, white, and blue tiramisu is worth every bite. Below are the ingredients you’ll need to pull it off, with a few suggested swaps, but please scroll down to the recipe card for full amounts and directions.
- Mascarpone Cheese – Adds richness and that signature silky texture to the tiramisu. You can sub with cream cheese, but it won’t be quite as smooth.
- Cream Cheese – Helps create a creamy, thick filling with a little tang. Feel free to use regular or reduced-fat cream cheese.
- Sugar – Granulated sugar sweetens both the filling and the whipped cream.
- Frangelico – A hazelnut liqueur that adds warm, nutty flavor to the filling. You can use any hazelnut liqueur or skip it for a no-alcohol version.
- Heavy Whipping Cream – Lightens the filling and gives it that fluffy texture. Make sure it’s chilled before whipping.
- Ladyfingers – These sponge-like cookies soak up the espresso and soften into the perfect cake-like layers. Look for crisp “savoiardi” style ladyfingers.
- Brewed Espresso – You can also use strong, brewed black coffee instead.
- Chocolate Shavings – For added richness and texture between the layers. Mini chocolate chips are okay to use.
- Strawberries – Sliced and used to create the red stripes in the flag design.
- Blueberries – Used to form the blue star section of the flag. Blueberries are perfect here, but blackberries could also work.
How To Make This No Bake Tiramisu Recipe
No oven, no stress! Just layers of whipped, creamy goodness spread over soft espresso-soaked ladyfingers. This patriotic twist on classic tiramisu comes together in just a few steps, and the fresh berries on top make it feel lighter. (We’re gonna roll with that.)
- Mix. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the mascarpone and cream cheese with the sugar until smooth and creamy. This should take about 4 to 5 minutes. Add the Frangelico and mix again just until combined.
- Whip. In a separate bowl, whip the chilled heavy cream with the remaining tablespoon of sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Fold. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined and fluffy. Try not to deflate all that lovely volume.
- Spread. Add a thin layer of the mascarpone filling to the bottom of a 9×13 glass dish. You’ll need just enough to help the ladyfingers stay in place.
- Layer. Arrange half of the ladyfingers over the base, then brush them generously with half of the espresso or coffee. Let them soak it in for about 5 minutes.
- Top. Spoon half of the mascarpone filling over the soaked ladyfingers and smooth it out. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings for a little extra richness.
- Repeat. Add the remaining ladyfingers in a second layer, brush with the rest of the coffee, and let it stand for another 5 minutes. Then top with the rest of the mascarpone mixture and spread it evenly to the edges.
- Make the flag. Place blueberries in the top left corner to form the blue section of the flag. Arrange strawberry slices in rows to make the red stripes.
- Chill. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best!) so the layers can set and the flavors can come together.
- Serve. Slice, serve, and watch everyone swoon.
Proper Storage
- To Store: Cover the tiramisu tightly with plastic wrap or store it in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 4 days. The longer it chills, the better the flavors get. Just note that the ladyfingers will continue to soften over time.
- Can I freeze it? Technically, yes. You can freeze tiramisu before adding the fresh fruit. Wrap it well and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge, then decorate with strawberries and blueberries just before serving.
Me thinks you should find 20 minutes this weekend to make this amazingness as a trial run. Share it with friends, if you must.
ENJOY!

Ingredients
- 8 ounces tub of Mascarpone cheese, softened
- 2 (8 ounce) blocks of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup + 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, divided
- 2 tablespoons Frangelico, (you can use any other Hazelnut Liqueur)
- 1 cup chilled heavy whipping cream
- 36 ladyfingers
- 1 cup brewed espresso, cold (you can also use regular brewed black coffee)
- 1 cup chocolate shavings
- strawberries, sliced
- blueberries
Instructions
- Mix. Combine the softened Mascarpone cheese, the cream cheese, and 1 cup sugar in your mixer's bowl; using an electric mixer, mix until creamy and smooth, about 4 to 5 minutes. Add Frangelico and continue to mix just until combined.
- Prep the heavy cream. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the chilled heavy cream and 1 tablespoon sugar; beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer until it just holds stiff peaks.
- Combine. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until combined.
- Layer. Spread about 1/4-cup of the mascarpone mixture on the bottom of a 9×13 glass baking dish. This is just to hold the ladyfingers in place. Layer half of the ladyfingers over the mixture.
- Add coffee. Generously brush the ladyfingers with half of the espresso or coffee; let stand for 5 minutes.
- Top with the cheese mixture. Take half of the prepared mascarpone mixture and spread it over the ladyfingers. Then, sprinkle the chocolate shavings over it.
- Continue to layer. Layer the remaining ladyfingers. Generously brush the ladyfingers with half of the espresso/coffee; let stand 5 minutes. Spread the remaining mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Make the flag. Position the blueberries in the top left corner of the tiramisu to form the blue portion of the flag. Arrange the sliced strawberries in horizontal lines across the tiramisu, leaving about 1 inch between each row, to form the stripes.
- Chill, then serve. Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours; overnight is best. Slice and serve.

Delicious! I love the addition of the berries for July. I would totally skip dinner for this ๐
My husband is making dinner tonight and last night I kept telling him how bad I felt for making him make dinner. I felt like I was inconveniencing him, but I make dinner EVERY night! So, I decided that the way to get over feeling bad is having him make dinner more often so it becomes normal ๐ I hate being hungry without dinner made.. my go-to seems to be spaghetti at that point!
Oh my gosh, what a BRILLIANT idea! I never would have thought of this โย I love it! This is exactly the type of thing I’d want to dive into for a 4th of July party! : )
This is so pretty! I love the coffee spin on the traditional 4th dessert! Who am I kidding, I would love a coffee spin on everything! This looks amazing ๐
This looks so beautiful, I don’t want to wait until the 4th to make it!
Calories totally don’t count on holidays…or weekends…or the 3 times a week that I get donuts. lol
This is brilliant! Love the gorgeous photos. You took tiramisu to a whole new level! Pinned!
