HOW TO MAKE HUMMUS PEPPERONI PIZZA WRAPS

We’re spreading a couple tablespoons of hummus onto each (low-carb whole wheat) wrap, and arranging America’s #1 selling brand of Pepperoni right over the hummus, with a handful of shredded mozzarella cheese alongside them.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 low-carb whole wheat flat bread wraps
  • 1 cup prepared hummus
  • 1 bag (6 ounces) HORMEL® PILLOW PACK® Pepperoni – Original
  • 1 cup low-fat part skim milk shredded mozzarella cheese
  • marinara sauce for dipping , optional

Instructions
 

  • Spread 2 tablespoons of hummus over each flat bread.
  • Arrange pepperoni and cheese over the hummus.
  • Roll up the wraps and cut in half.
  • Microwave each halved wrap for about 25 to 30 seconds, or until cheese begins to melt.
  • Remove from microwave and serve with a side of marinara sauce.

    I don’t eat pork, but I always have turkey pepperoni in my refrigerator! My favorite way to use it is as a pizza topping, but I also use it in calzones, casseroles, and on crackers as a snack.

    My boys love pepperoni pizza and I also like using it mixed into meat when I make turkey burgers…Pizza turkey burgers topped with fresh mozzarella, sliced tomato, pizza sauce, fresh basil, arugula and banana peppers.

    My favorite way to use pepperoni is on what my little brother calls “pizza sandwiches”. He likes pepperoni with shredded cheese melted on top of bread and loves when we make it for him.

    I make a crescent toll circle with crescent tools, laid out overlapping each other. spread with pizza sauce, cheese, pepperoni and more cheese. fold the crescents over and pinch together. Bryan with butter and bake for 15-20 mins until golden brown. Delicious!

    I maybe a little odd but i love it cut up in my Omelet’s along with a little tomato and cheese. It makes for a perfect breakfast along with my coffee. Adds a little spice to my eggs.

    I actually like doing pepperoni pizza wraps. Whole Wheat Flatout wraps with a spicy marinara, mozzarella and pepperoni… Delicious, high fiber (if you use the Flatout wraps) and delicious without being too heavy.

    My boyfriend and I always like putting hormel pepperonis on frozen pizzas but I mostly like to use them in salads both green salads and pasta salads. They are great on the app trays with cheese, veggies and crackers too
