Banana Mango Smoothie

Banana smoothies made with mangoes and yogurt are a delicious beverage that combines the natural sweetness of bananas and mangoes with the creamy tanginess of yogurt.

Besides drinking tasty smoothies in the morning, I hang out at Farmer’s Markets. I can hang out there for hours. Nothing says HELLO SUMMER more than a gorgeous, bright, fresh, produce-filled Farmer’s stand.

For years I lived in downtown Chicago and every Wednesday during my lunch-break I would go to Daley’s Plaza Farmer’s Market to stock up on a week’s worth of fruits and veggies. Cheeses, too. And salami, artisan chocolates, exotic spices… wonderful times.

Last week I was lucky enough to be invited back to Daley’s Plaza, where I had a chance to hang out with some wonderful girls and sample Farmer’s Pick by Welch’s.

A montage of Welch's images.
  • Farmer’s Pick by Welch’s is a line of 100% juice that delivers a fresh fruit taste without any artificial ingredients:
  • It is made with unfiltered juice, which gives it extra body and flavor.
  • There’s no sugar added. The sugar that IS in the juice is from the fruits, only.
  • Have no preservatives and no artificial flavors, synthetic colors, or ingredients. Hence the whole 100% Juice!
  • Farmer’s Pick comes in three flavors: Concord Grape, Mango and Blackberry.

I first tried the Mango and thought that I didn’t even need to move on to the next Juice. I was content and ready to walk away with a few bottles. Then I sampled the Concorde Grape and Blackberry… At this point, all I wanted to do was pick up the crate with 12 Farmer’s Pick bottles and run with it.

AND if that wasn’t enough, Welch’s Farmer’s Pick collection also includes Fruit Spreads! Available in Concord Grape, Strawberry and Raspberry, these spreads are also made with no high fructose corn syrup, no preservatives, and no artificial flavors or colors.
Not afraid to admit, I had myself a nice little lunch with a jar of their Strawberry Spread and a sleeve of Saltines.

A sample plate of crackers and jelly.

Obviously, I had an amazing time and a full belly.

Later that day, after kicking and screaming because I just didn’t wanna leave, I decided to finally drive back to Indiana and share a juice-bottle or two with the family.

The third bottle, which was the Farmer’s Pick 100% Juice Mango, ended up in this delicious Banana Mango Smoothie. While at the market, I picked up a few recipe cards from the Welch’s Farmer’s Stand, filled with delicious ideas in how to incorporate their juices and spreads in smoothies, kebabs, and syrups. Check out all the recipes over at SheKnows.

The mango smoothie is delicious, it is relaxing, and it’s fun! I mean, for reals, there’s fresh mango in there AND mango juice! It’s mango overload! I LOVE IT!
Also? No sugar added. It’s just you, the mango, the banana, and some yogurt. Ice, too.

Pick up a bottle, or ten, of the NEW Farmer’s Pick by Welch’s 100% Juice and let you and your family enjoy the taste of fresh-picked fruit all year round.

ENJOY!
