Welcome to Diethood! There are over 2,000 recipes on the site – hard to believe but it’s true! From chicken dinner ideas to the best pork recipes, there is truly something for everyone.
As a busy working mom, I appreciate quick and easy meals. All of my recipes can be prepared by a novice cook or baker. I love using fresh ingredients to create flavor-packed recipes that taste like they came straight from a restaurant.
p.s. You can learn more about me and my family on my “Meet Katerina” page!
What Kinds of Recipes Will You Find?
I grew up enjoying hearty Macedonian meals, with plenty of Mediterranean flavors coming out of my family’s kitchen. Over time, my cooking world grew to include American comfort food, along with dishes inspired by Asian, Latin, European, and many other cuisines.
You’ll find everything from simple dinners for busy weeknights to recipes worthy of special celebrations. Every dish reflects the way my family truly eats. We enjoy recipes made with fresh ingredients, full of flavor, easy to follow, and always comforting. Whether you’re just starting out in the kitchen or have years of experience, there’s always something here you’ll want to make. Every recipe is designed to actually work in your everyday life.
If you have a question, please share a comment, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. And if you want even MORE ideas, check out my second site: Easy Weeknight Recipes. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Is This a “Diet” Blog?
Sometimes people ask if Diethood is a “diet” food blog. I want to clarify that the answer is no. This site isn’t focused on dieting or adhering to any specific dietary regimes. Instead, the term “diet” in Diethood refers to the daily foods consumed by myself and my family—our regular eating habits and choices. It’s all about sharing the everyday meals that we love, which are both wholesome and enjoyable.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I share your recipes on my site or Facebook page? Feel free to share my recipe links, but DO NOT post the entire recipe on your page or blog. I just ask that you link back to me so that credit is given where credit is due. A lot of time, energy and love goes into making these recipes to share with you!
- Can I use your photos? If you would like to share/use my photos, please contact me first. All of the photography on Diethood is shot by yours truly. I am not a professional, but I do what I can. Again, a lot of effort went into making beautiful photos for you so please don’t use my work without getting permission first. 🙂
- Do you collaborate with brands or do sponsored work? If you would like to work together, please click here for details.
