Make this easy Baked Shrimp Scampi recipe that’s all about juicy shrimp coated in a flavorful garlic butter sauce and topped with a crispy parmesan layer.
Prep. Preheat oven to 425˚F. Arrange the shrimp in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
Make the butter sauce. Melt the butter in a bowl, then whisk the lemon juice, minced garlic, and minced parsley with the melted butter; pour half of the garlic butter mixture over the shrimp and stir the shrimp around until well combined. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer inside the baking dish. Set aside.
Make the crumb topping. In a small mixing bowl, combine the remaining melted butter mixture, the pork panko crumbs, parmesan cheese, and paprika; mix well to combine. Sprinkle this crumb mixture evenly over the shrimp.
Bake. Place the shrimp in the oven and bake for 12 minutes, or until bubbly. Set the oven to BROIL and cook for another minute or two, or until the top is golden and crispy.
Finish and serve. Remove the baked shrimp from the oven. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
