Crock Pot Spaghetti Sauce Italiano

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 large white onion , chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 2 cans (14.5-ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (6-ounces) tomato paste
  • 2 cans (4-ounces) mushrooms, drained
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 teaspoons dry Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chopped green sweet pepper
  • Cooked Spaghetti , drained
  • Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Combine beef, onion and garlic in a large skillet and cook until meat is browned; drain.
  • In a 4-quart crock pot, combine tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, bay leaf, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  • Stir in meat mixture.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours, or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
  • Stir in sweet chopped sweet pepper.
  • Discard bay leaf.
  • Spoon sauce over cooked spaghetti.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese.
  • Serve.
