  • 1 rolled out pie dough, I use Pillsbury's refrigerated pie dough
  • 1 cup finely chopped mini candy bars, I use Kit Kats, Twix, and mini Reese's cups
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips, melted, (optional - used for drizzling over the pies)

  • Preheat oven to 375˚F.
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the pie dough.
  • Grab a round cookie cutter and cut out circles.
  • Place about a tablespoon of chopped candy on one side of each pie round.
  • Fold the dough over the candy and crimp the edges with fingers or fork.
  • Place on prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove and let cool.
  • Drizzle melted chocolate over the hand pies and serve.

Instead of pie dough/crust, you can also use the tubed crescent rolls.
