Simple & Flavorful!

Classic Shrimp Scampi is a mouthwatering seafood skillet meal that’s super easy to make. White wine, butter, and fresh garlic give it oodles of flavor!

WHAT KIND OF SHRIMP SHOULD I BUY?

If you live near the coast and have access to fresh shrimp, that's your best bet!  If not, choose high quality frozen shrimp from a reputable grocery store. Frozen shrimp can be thawed just before using.

What You'll Need

Butter and Olive Oil Garlic White Wine Salt & Pepper Crushed Red Pepper Flakes Shrimp Fresh Parsley Lemon Juice Rice, Pasta, or Crusty Bread (for serving)

Cook the Garlic

Heat the butter and olive oil, then add the garlic and cook for about 20 seconds until fragrant.

Add the Wine

Stir in the wine and seasonings and bring to a simmer for about 2 minutes, until reduced by half.

Cook the Shrimp

Add the peeled, deveined shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until pink and opaque on all sides.

Finish the Dish

Once the shrimp are cooked, stir in the parsley and lemon juice and cook for 30 seconds more.

Remove the skillet from heat, and serve your shrimp scampi over pasta, rice or crusty bread.
