Shrimp alfredo linguine

Served with garlic and shallot-sauteed shrimp, this quick homemade shrimp alfredo linguine is creamy, delicious, and ready in less than an hour!

Recipe variations

Don't worry if you're out of shrimp. You can also make this recipe with steak, chicken, or veggies instead. Fettuccine can also be substituted for the linguine!

What You'll Need

Dried Linguine #13 Olive Oil Unsalted Butter Garlic Shallot Medium-Sized Shrimp Dry White Wine Salt Heavy Cream Chicken Stock White Pepper Fresh Parsley

Boil the Pasta

Boil a large pot of water. Add the linguine noodles and cook according to the package directions.

Cook the Garlic

Add the garlic and shallots to a large pan and cook over medium-low heat for 5-6 minutes.

Cook the Shrimp

Raise the heat to medium-high, and add the shrimp and white wine. Cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes on each side.

Make the Sauce

Set the shrimp aside, and pour heavy cream, chicken stock, and parmesan cheese into the pan. Whisk to combine. 

Add the Pasta

Gently stir in the cooked linguine until it's coated in sauce, then add in the shrimp and mix well.

Serve

Top the pasta with fresh parsley and shaved parmesan cheese. Serve warm and enjoy!
