Tossed in an addictive sweet and tangy sauce, these Honey Walnut Shrimp will beat take-out any day.  It's an easy Asian-inspired dish ready in less than 30 minutes!

What You'll Need

Japanese Mayonnaise Sweetened Condensed Milk Lime Juice All-purpose Flour Cornstarch Potato Starch Egg Baking Powder Salt Water Medium/Large Shrimp Walnuts Raw Honey Black Sesame Seeds Vegetable Oil

Make the Sauce

Whisk together the sauce ingredients until well combined.  Set aside.

Fry the Walnuts

Fry the walnuts in vegetable oil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool 1-2 minutes.

Add Honey

Toss the fried walnuts with honey and place back in the oil to cook for 1 minute,. Srain and set aside to cool.

Make the Batter

Mix the dry  batter ingredients together, then add the egg and water and whisk until a batter forms.

Coat and Fry Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the batter, then fry 4-5 shrimp at a time in hot oil. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.

Add the Sauce

Once all the shrimp are cooked, toss with the sauce, then add the walnuts.

Enjoy!

Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and serve.  Enjoy with side of cabbage salad.
