Cannolis are a delicious dessert made with a crispy cookie shell that's filled with ricotta and chocolate. They're sweet, smooth, and bitter!
You'll only need egg whites, ricotta cheese, and a few other simple ingredients to make this easy recipe.
Add the egg whites, oil, melted butter, vanilla, and sugar to a bowl. Whisk until well combined.
Add the flour to the bowl, and mix until there are no lumps.
Spoon batter onto baking sheets in 3 teaspoon portions and spread to a 4-inch circle.
Bake for 7-8 minutes. Then use an offset spatula to shape the cookies into a tube shape.
Let the cookies cool seam-side down.
Add the cream cheese, ricotta, vanilla, orange zest, and powdered sugar to a bowl, and mix until well combined.
Add the whipped cream and chocolate chips and fold them in.
Place the filling in a piping bag, and pipe it into the cannoli shells.
Garnish with additional chocolate chips at the tips, and drizzle melted chocolate over the top. Serve immediately.
