Add water in a pot and bring to a boil.
Add broccoli to boiling water and cover.
Cook for 7 to 8 minutes, or until fork-tender.
Drain, pat dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper; set aside.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
When butter is melted, add garlic and cook for 1 minute or until soft and fragrant, stirring occasionally. Don't burn the garlic.
Stir in the panko crumbs, lemon zest and lemon juice.
Season with salt and pepper and mix and stir until everything is well blended and moist.
Stir in prepared broccoli and cook until all is combined and heated through; about 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
