A delicious hummus recipe with garbanzo beans and hot sauce, makes for a wonderful game-day snack or appetizer.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cans (15-oz. each) garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tablespoons of your favorite barbecue sauce
  • 4 tablespoons , or to taste, hot sauce (I use Frank's)
  • 1/4 cup tahini paste or sesame seed paste (if you can't find any, you can still go ahead and make the recipe without the paste)
  • 5 garlic cloves , chopped
  • 1 small lemon , juiced
  • salt , to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Crackers
  • Vegetables
  • Pretzels

Instructions
 

  • Start with adding olive oil into a food processor.
  • Place garbanzo beans, barbecue sauce, hot sauce, tahini paste, chopped garlic, lemon juice, salt and chili powder in the food processor and puree until smooth and creamy.
  • Add more olive oil if the hummus is too thick.
  • Taste for seasoning and adjust.
  • Sprinkle hummus with cayenne pepper and serve with crackers, vegetables or pretzels.
