Ingredients
16Baby Bella Mushrooms
1package(8-oz) cream cheese, softened
4slicesthick bacon, cooked to a crisp, crumbled, reserving 1 tablespoon for garnish
1cupshredded mild cheddar cheese
1/2cupthick and chunky salsa
1teaspoongarlic powder
fresh ground pepper, to taste
1/2tablespoonchopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325.
Line a baking sheet with foil and grease with cooking spray; set aside.
Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth.
Remove stems and finely chop them.
Transfer chopped stems to a large mixing bowl and add cream cheese, crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, salsa, garlic powder, pepper and parsley.
Mix it all together until smooth and creamy.
Spoon the mixture into the mushroom caps.
Transfer mushrooms to prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until mixture begins to melt.
