Pour in the milk and espresso/coffee granules; continue to beat/mix until thoroughly combined.
Slowly fold in the whipped topping.
Spoon mixture into dip bowls.
Refrigerate for at least one hour, or until ready to serve.
Serve with cookies, optionally.
