This classic Chinese stir fry is made with tender chicken and dried red chilis coated in a deliciously spicy, savory, sweet sauce. Plus, it takes less than 30 minutes to make!
You'll only need boneless, skinless chicken breasts and a few other simple ingredients to make this easy recipe.
Whisk together the cornstarch and water until smooth.
Add the remainder of the ingredients for the sauce and whisk until smooth.
Add the chicken and cornstarch to a medium-sized mixing bowl and toss to coat.
Heat avocado oil over medium-high heat and sauté chicken for 3 minutes. Then set aside.
Heat remaining avocado oil in pan and add scallions, bell peppers, and chilis. Sauté for 10 minutes. Then add the garlic.
Add browned chicken and sauce to the pan and cook until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened.
Season with salt and pepper and garnish with the green parts of the scallions. Enjoy!
