WHAT IS pad see ew?

Pad see ew is pronounced “pat-see-you,” and it’s a beloved pan-fried noodle dish that’s made its way across the globe. The emphasis is on perfectly-caramelized noodles along with crisp-tender vegetables and chicken.

Ingredients You'll Need

Wide Noodles Chicken Breast Soy Sauce Sesame Oil Spinach Broccoli Garlic Oyster Sauce Rice Vinegar Brown Sugar Molasses Seasonings Garnishes

Make the Sauce

In a medium bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients.  Set aside.

Cook the Chicken

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, then add the sliced chicken breast and cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add Broccoli and Garlic

Add the chopped broccoli and garlic to the skillet and cook for another 3 minutes.  Set aside in a clean bowl.

Cook the Noodles

In the same skillet, add the cooked, drained noodles.  Let them sizzle and sauté until they are dark and toasty in spots,.  

Finish the Dish

Return the chicken and broccoli to the skillet, along with the spinach and sauce.  Simmer until sauce is thickened and shiny.

Enjoy!

Serve with lime wedges and a sprinkle of chili flakes.  Serve by itself or with a simple, crunchy salad on the side.
