Bold and Flavorful!

This hearty chicken curry dish is an all-time favorite.  Authentic Indian and Pakistani flavors shine in the creamy, bold sauce!

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM BUTTER CHICKEN?

Both dishes have a similar spice blend, but  Chicken Korma uses ghee, spices and caramelized onions to create a more gravy-like sauce for the chicken.

A Few Ingredients

Plus a handful of spices!

Chicken Spices & Seasonings Yogurt Lemon Vegetable Oil Onions Salt Cashews Chili Peppers Water Heavy Cream Rice Garnish

Marinate the Chicken

Combine the chicken with the spices, seasonings, lemon juice and yogurt in a zip top bag.  

Make the Sauce

Caramelize the onions in a skillet, then add the cashews. Transfer to a blender, add yogurt, and pulse until smooth.

Cook the Chicken

Saute the spices, then stir in the chicken and cook for 5 minutes. Add the sauce, water, and remaining seasonings.

Simmer

Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes, until chicken is cooked through. Stir in heavy cream, and cook for 2 minutes more.

Season and Serve

Taste, and adjust seasonings as desired.  Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice.
