Smashed potatoes are boiled to soften, crushed and broken with a fork, and drizzled with oil or butter.  Air frying adds a killer crispy finish, making these homestyle morsels absolutely irresistible.

What You'll Need

- Potatoes - Butter - Garlic - Parsley - Salt & Pepper

Boil the Potatoes


Scrub the potatoes, then boil them for about 20 minutes, until fork-tender.

Make the Garlic Butter


Drain the potatoes and set aside. Mix together the melted butter, minced garlic and parsley in a bowl.

Smash Potatoes


Use the back of a fork to gently smash the potatoes until they're about 1 inch thick.



Brush the potatoes with garlic butter, arrange in the air fryer basket, and air fry for about 10 minutes.



Transfer the potatoes to a serving platter, garnish with parsley, and serve!
