Air Fryer Chicken Wings

The air fryer makes it simpler than ever to make authentic "fried" wings. You only need cooking spray + seasonings. And there’s hardly any cleanup. Awesome, right?

How Long Do Chicken Wings Take in the Air Fryer?

8 to 12 minutes per side, or 16 to 24 minutes total.

What You'll Need for the Wings

An air fryer :)

Chicken wings - Skin on and bone in 



Spices - Smoked paprika, garlic powder, baking powder, dried thyme and cayenne

Black pepper

What You'll Need for the Dipping Sauce

Sriracha or Hot Sauce


Garlic Salt

Fresh Parsley

Lemon wedges 

Season the Chicken Wings


Place chicken wings in a bowl, add all the spices and lemon zest, tossing to coat.

Add to Air Fryer


Set to 400F, spray chicken wings with oil and cook for 8 minutes.

Flip Halfway Through


Flip with tongs, spray with more oil and cook another 8 minutes or until golden.

Make the Sauce


Place sauce ingredients in a pot and bring to a simmer, whisking constantly.



Sprinkle chopped parsley on the wings & serve with your dipping sauce.
