Sharing one of my favorite snacks on the GO: OneBar!
Confession Time…
Allow me to be completely honest. I do not enjoy driving my kids around from one practice-activity to the next. I’d rather eat cake.
I’m a Mom and I should probably sit here and smile about how GREAT all this is, but then it would be a lie. I like that they have hobbies and interests, I just didn’t think I would be the taxi!
Please tell me I’m not alone.
I had a feeling that signing up our daughters for every activity possible was going to be a challenge, but we’re trying to keep up with the Smiths next door…
Keeping my fingers crossed that sooner, and not later, Ana will tell me that she’s over-it and we can finally stop this tuba playing thing.
However, until then, I’ll keep on truckin’. errr. Drivin’
Recently, in the middle of my taxi-mom-jobs, I picked up a box of this low calorie snack called OneBar. I am someone that will never, ever, EVER eat in a car, so when I’m on-the-go, I try to bring something portable, healthy, and small enough to go into my pocket.
As you all know, and because this blog doesn’t hide it, I lurrrrve my chocolate and my cake, but a girl’s gotta balance it all out. Thus, even though fresh fruit can’t be beat, sometimes I just want to bite into something that is just as good, but with a crunch and texture, ya know what I mean?
First thing that I noticed about OneBar was that it contains baobab. Baobab is a powerful fruit that is packed with potassium, lots of vitamin C and is a great source of fiber and magnesium.
To add, each fruit bar has 1 whole serving of fruit. AND, there’s no added sugars, they are gluten-free, vegan and peanut free! While they are high in sugar, the sugar is from the fruit itself. For those calorie-watchers, these bars are 70 calories each! And each bar contains 2 grams of fiber.
Healthy snacking is worthwhile, especially when you want to come home to stuff your face with Creamy Chicken Pasta and Chocolate Souffle.
I should tell you now… I want you to try these. We are giving away 3 boxes of the OneBar flavors including apple, cherry and mango! This giveaway will be across the different blogs participating in the OneBar campaign and 40 winners will be chosen. Yes, 40 WINNERS! The giveaway will end on Thursday, June 19 at noon PST.
I also have a coupon code for those that want to try these delicious fruit bars asap! Hop over to OneBar and use coupon code EasyFruit – good for 25% off your total order placed by August 31.

It is impossible to find a peanut free bar! I’m so happy that you told us about these bars. And the no sugar thing. 🙂 I like to save my sugar for when I really mean it! Like cake or something. Hopefully, for your sanity, the tuba playing will be over soon. 🙂
