Thingamajig Tuesdays: My Kia, My Family

Hey, There!

Welcome to the first installment of Thingamajig Tuesdays – a day where I get to use my favorite word, thingamajig, and apply it to my favorite things. I have thought of many ways to allow you to get to know me better, and I think I found the one thing that will work – sharing some of my adorable obsessions!

First up – My Kia! Kia Sorento, that is! Normally, I wouldn’t talk to you about cars – you and I talk about food! But, I LOVE this car. I do, I do, I do! Recently, when my husband sat me down to tell me that I had to get rid of my car (he thought that I was going to curl up and die…um…not!), I got so excited because this means that I can finally drive my new obsession!

Are you wondering what the big deal is? Allow me to elaborate.

My husband is a car salesman. Last year, for one of our road trips, he suggested we rent a Kia Sorento.

IF it wasn’t for the Kia Sorento, we would not have survived.

You see, I was preggers, and our very energetic 3-year old was in the back seat. Pregnant woman (9th month) + a 3-year old + a husband that doesn’t like to stop at rest areas = formula for disaster.

BUT, the Sorento’s UVO eServices Infotainment System kept those two entertained, and because of the roomy interior, I got to take my 12-hour daily nap. 😀 That third row was all mine!

My husband, who is 6’3, also loved it because there was plenty of leg room.  Tall people issues. I wouldn’t know. I’m happy at 5’6.

Now do you see why I love this car so much? It’s stylish, it’s roomy, and it will fit the entire family! Even that tall dude.

I can’t wait to drive my Kia to its new home – my garage!

    1. Really? LOL! Talk about having things in common! 🙂 Is he always complaining about leg room? 😉

I’m excited as well about my Tuesday posts. I have always wanted to share more, but couldn’t figure out how! 🙂
