Good grief, is it August, yet?!

Seriously. I am facing a pretty challenging summer.

You know those yungins I birthed? Yeah, those two.

Um… Whoa! They are calling all the shots, people! All. of. the. time! What is up with that?!?

Am I being a brat? Should I have known this? Gah!

I’ve told you this before and I am going to say it again; THANK goodness for Netflix!

And S’mores Brownie Cookies!

Are you hanging out with Netflix, too? You ought to be.

Did you know that the new Netflix.com/Families page is available for both members and non-members!? YAHA! Isn’t that great?

Oh! Oh! Did you also know that you can watch FAMILY TIES on Netflix?!? Yes you can! I made my older one sit with me through a couple of episodes, and a day or two later she was asking everyone who Richard Nixon was. 🙂

I ♥ Alex P. Keaton!

Family Ties Netflix | www.diethood.com | #ad #NetflixFamiliesI also watched SAVED BY THE BELL with her! (I HEART ZACK MORRIS!)I think I had more fun than she did, but I deserve it! After all, she and her sister have been hanging out with Elmo, Barney, Handy Manny, Bo On The Go, etc… And they are all on Netflix.

Bo is one of their favorites. They love to jump around with her, dance, and repeat everything she says. I enjoy that show as well because Bo gets them to move around – she’s very positive, energetic, and she encourages the viewers to help out on her quests.

Netflix.com/Families features several new categories including Family Movie Night, Are We There Yet and TV for Curious Kids.

This past weekend we set a couple of hours aside to spend with the kids and watch one of their favorite movies, 101 Dalmatians, on Netflix. Even the one-year old stayed up and watched the first 30 minutes of it. Now she picks up her stuffed animals and barks at them. Ana, on the other hand, keeps drawing dogs with spots. And she wants me to get her a puppy.

I told her I would give her the entire batch of S’mores Brownie Cookies, instead. She agreed.

By the end of the movie, the 3 of us ate more than half of the batch. I transformed the outside, campfire treat into an indoor, brownie cookie sandwich. It was mahvelous! I mean, you can imagine, right?

Dalmatians Netflix | www.diethood.com | #sponsored #NetflixFamilies #adSo, what are you watching on TV with your family? Families with Netflix can enjoy their favorites – always without commercials – anytime, anywhere. Those times when I want to watch a Family Ties marathon, the kids are on my laptop or our tablet watching one of their favorite shows.

Thank goodness for movies! And brownie s’mores! My boys are 14 and 16 and there are many days when we still all need some wind down and alone time. Will have to make these the next time (i.e. like today) we need a break!

  4. Alexandra @ Confessions of a Bright-Eyed Baker

Genius Katerina! Brownie cookies by themselves are pretty dang good, but add those toasty marshmallows and graham crackers and I’m pretty sure they must be 100x better. 🙂

So I’m basically gonna make these cookies RIGHT NOW. Gahhhhh amazing. But also… we would die without Netflix in this house. Or rather… I would die because my kids would drive me totally bananas.
