A recap of September’s Recipes on Diethood.
What?
Oh, you noticed? Well, yeah, you’re right, no recipe today. No sirree, Bob.
Today, you and I are going to hang out, chat a bit, and at the end I will include a Recap of September’s Recipes. So often we get caught up in the food and I don’t get a chance to talk with you, you know?
Soooo, what do you wanna talk about? Did you say Fall? And how fast this past month went?! That’s what I was thinking, too! You and I are like this – we even think the same!
What Fallish things did you do this month? We went to the Apple Orchard. Yep, that’s all we did. Woooot! We’re such adventure seekers!! 😛
The truth of the matter is that we are still working on the new house and haven’t had any time to just take it all in and relax…
But, we also picked apples from our own apple tree in the backyard. We have peaches, and pears, and grapes, as well! I have pictures! See that grapevine up there? That’s our beautiful grapevine that was attacked by a family of raccoons last month and nothing was left of it. I can’t believe they just went at it. They also attacked our garden. Those hungry little beasts! I could kill ’em! But I won’t.
Our apple tree. Aren’t the apples just gorgeous?! We love them!
This is our pear tree. I used these pears to make the Pear Cake with Lemon Glaze.
I didn’t make anything with our own peaches because my girls love eating them right off the tree.
…Speaking of those two little beauties of mine…
Here’s Ana! She is now 4 years old and this photo was taken at the beginning of the month, on her first day of Preschool.
Here’s Aleksandra! She is just like Mommy – credit cards in one hand and brownies in the other! She is almost 16-months old… how did that happen?!
I wish I had a photo to share of myself and Goce, but since we’re always the ones taking photos of our children, I don’t have any new ones to share with you! Wah wah wah!! But, I have food!
Are you ready to talk about food?!
