You know how last month I told you that we eat pasta all.the.time? I also continued to tell you that I didn’t have any pasta recipes on the blog??
Well. Seems that things have changed, doesn’t it? This is the second pasta recipe in 3 days!
Although, I still can’t forget about that Chicken Bruschetta Pasta…incredible!

But, but, but… Today’s recipe comes with a Thank You note. And, the recipe is here because this is my husband’s favorite dish of all time.

The uber talented baker, blogger, and awesome cake maker, Amanda from I Am Baker, suggested that a few of us food bloggers should come together and dedicate a post to our significant other. Or, to our other half that supports this whole bloggy thing and is behind us 100%!
Thus this post, my lovelies, is dedicated to my dear husband, Goce, who doesn’t only support me and my work, but is always looking forward to eating it, too!

This is one of our most recent photos… No, it is not 2 a.m. and we are not in a night club… and we weren’t drinking… we are just natural cheezers. Ahem. 🙂

Part of this post includes a sit-down interview with my husband where I asked him a few questions about my job, and I will share his answers with you.

Ready? This is going to be FUN!

Okay, go!

Me: Honey, what is your favorite blog called?! (as I am giving him the eye…)
Hubs: Tricky question. DIETHOOD!

Me: What is the meaning of the made-up-word diethood?
Hubs: I forgot. Something about parenthood, but not. It’s like parenthood, but it’s diethood. Right?

Me: Hmmmm… whatev.

Me: What is your favorite prop that I use in my photos?
Hubs: I like the antique silverware that you paid an arm and a leg for… aaaand we’re not even allowed to touch it, let alone eat with it. But, it’s nice. Especially the forks.

Me: What is the oddest thing you’ve seen me do for a blog post?
Hubs: You made Baklava with Strawberries. That’s odd. But delicious. And still odd.
Me: That’s it?
Hubs: I think it’s weird that you get up on the table to take photos of food.
Me: What else you got?
Hubs: That’s all.

Me: If you had your own blog, what would be the name of it?
Hubs: Soccer Love!
Me: Honey, I knew it would be soccer something, I just would not have guessed Soccer Love…
Hubs: That’s the only thing that came to mind.
Me: Cool.

Me: What do you do for a living and what are your hobbies?
Hubs: You don’t know?!
Me: I’m interviewing you… just give me the answers.
Hubs: Weird. Okay, well, I’m a car salesman and if you need a new car, come to Mike Anderson Chevrolet in Merrillville, Indiana. Ask for Goce. Or George!
Me: Did you just use my blog space to place an ad for free?!?!
Hubs: I eat cold food. That’s payment enough.
Me: LOL!!!!!!!! You got me. 🙂

Me: And your hobby, please…
Hubs: My hobby?! SOCCER LOVE! 4EVA!
Me: Thank you for your time. You may now go back to Fox Soccer Channel. Love you!
Hubs: Love you, too, but could you please bring me a bowl of Pasta with tomatoes? Please!
Me: No problem…

How about that? Isn’t he wonderful?! 😉

Because this Pasta, or Spaghetti, with Tomatoes, Garlic and Olives is his favorite food, I thought it was only fitting to finally share it with you all. There’s really nothing special to it, until you get a taste of it. It’s garlicky, buttery, and saucy. Or as I like to say, thawthyyy!

I can feel your curiosity. It’s totally fine. Go ahead, get up and make this for dinner. You can thank me later. 😉
Before you go, please scroll to the bottom of this post and see what the other blogger’s sweethearts had to say to their questions. THANK YOU!

ENJOY!

You two are one good looking couple!! Love all his answers! We are the opposite – we rarely eat pasta, I will make the occasional mac and cheese from scratch but that is about it. Your photos are gorgeous like always!

The pasta looks amazing! I’m not very good at coming up with simple pasta dishes, I definitely need to pin this for later.
