After seeing the recent devastation caused by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, all I could do was pray, and all I wanted to do was help in any way that I could.

Honey Ginger Cookies

Thanks to the wonderful Sabrina of The Tomato Tart, I am helping by partaking in an Online Bake Sale – a fundraising event with over 90 food bloggers participating to help the relief efforts in Japan caused by the recent disasters.

The bake sale will take place on Sabrina’s blog, The Tomato Tart, on Wednesday, March 30th, 2011. There you will have the opportunity to bid on your favorite baked goods made by your favorite food bloggers. All proceeds will then go to Second Harvest Japan.

I will be baking a couple dozen batches of my delicious Honey Ginger Cookies. You will have the chance to bid on them, and the cookies will go to the highest bidder.

I hope that you can join us in our efforts to raise some “dough” for the people of Japan.

What a wonderful effort! I’ll wander over to the tomato tart to see what’s up. I have to make these cookies, they look like they’ll melt in your mouth!
