Mindful Snacking with The Laughing Cow Cheese Wedges!
As you can tell by my blog, I like to eat. 😀 After all, FOOD is GOOD!
BUT, even though food and I are like *this*, we also have a very healthy relationship. We meet up several times a day, including morning, mid-morning, lunch, mid-lunch, and dinner. I also like to sneak in a little bit of something couple of hours before I go to bed. Nothing too crazy – just a bowl of Special K cereal sans milk.
Admittedly, my favorite meal of the day is snack-time. Chowing down on something without having to spend forever-and-a-day cooking it, snacking is one of life’s great pleasures. However, snack calories can really add up if you’re not careful, but healthy and mindful snacks can add nutrition and vitamins to your daily diet if you choose correctly.
I work from home and working from home makes it real easy to just reach over for whatever I can find – I always have a lot of food on hand, mostly because of my job, but not all of my food falls in the “healthy” category.
For this reason, I prepare food-for-work just like anyone else that works a 9-to-5 job outside of their home.
