Real Talk: You know, when you’re bored, you snack on a bag of chips, correct? Except that I don’t.
I snack on cereal. I may or may not have killed an entire box of cereal in one sitting.
Sometimes, when I want a healthy dessert for breakfast, I make a Crunch Pie. Other times, when I want a healthy dessert for breakfast that I can only have in the car, I make a smoothie.
Thus, I created a smoothie that completely satisfied my craving for a breakfast-dessert and my craving for cereal. And my cravings for fruit, chocolate, cinnamon, and milk. Yeah… all of that goodness found its way into my delicious smoothie. Don’t worry. It’s still delicious and nutritious.
One more “real talk” truth; I am head over heels for Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy. Seriously.
I also found myself head over heels over boots when I first tasted their New Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy Cereals, including both varieties, Cinnamon Crunch and Chocolatey Almond Crunch.
The Cinnamon Crunch is made with sweet and crunchy cinnamon clusters. They are amazing! My hand was in that box constantly, trying to find “just one more” cluster! Then, the Chocolatey Almond Crunch includes chocolate morsels and almonds – an absolute treat! Definitely dessert for breakfast.

Honey Oats Strawberry Smoothie
- 1 (6-oz) container strawberry yogurt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
- 1/3 cup strawberries , sliced
- 1 banana , sliced
- 1/2 cup Honey Bunches of Oats Cinnamon Crunch Cereal
- 1/2 cup Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolatey Almond Crunch Cereal
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
- Add more milk as necessary, depending on desired consistency.
- Pour into glasses and serve.
