We have one large frying pan that we use for EVERYTHING! For a food processor, I have one of those dual use immersion blenders that has a small bottom attachment. I can make a small batch of pesto in it, but barely. I’ve been seeing lots of recipes that need a real food processor. Just found your website- love it! Beautiful pictures and recipes 🙂

I don’t own any Faberware products but if I won a food processor I would make my own salsas and hummus and babyfood.

  3. You’re back! I missed you! I hope you are doing well.
What a fantastic giveaway! I personally use my food processor for EVERYTHING. Seriously. It’s the most-used item/appliance in my kitchen.

  4. one of the only functional things in my kitchen is a farberware knife. it’s a small paring knife, and i keep it for slicing the garlic i pickle (lacto-ferment) and use in everything! i’d love to have a food processor for making lacto-fermented dosai – just fermented rice and lentils! it’s so wonderful after being ground to a paste and fried, and i miss them so much… i wish for some type of food processor, blender, or something all the time… but alas! i have to use my pell grant for schoolbooks and the like. this would make my year. 😀

  5. I don’t own a Farberware product, but my food processor is always on – I love to make salsas (especially salsa verde!), soups and smoothies with it.

  6. Welcome back! This is such a great giveaway! I sadly do not even own a food processor 🙁 Can you believe it!? I still actually have a blender from the 70’s – no joke, it was my mothers lol. If I had one though I would be making my doughs and hollandaise sauce in this bad boy every week!

  7. So happy to see you back! This food processor would be a welcome addition on my counter. My old Cuisinart is barely hanging on. I use it for pie crusts, smoothies, chopping veggies, and nuts.

  8. I don’t own any FaberWare products right now, but I have been craving a large capacity food processor for a while now. I use mine for so many things! I prepare sofrito, some doughs, chop vegetables… I could go on!

  9. Welcome back! By far, my favorite is the food processor…I know it’s trite, but true! I recently discovered the joys of making pie crusts in them! I look forward to your next post to see what you were up to!

My favorite Farberware appliance is my small electric coffee percolator. It makes perfect old-style coffee and keeps it warm all day.

Glad to have to back. My food processor is on it’s last leg but I usually use it for pie crusts and salsas.

I don’t own any Farberware products but I love making hummus with my old beat-up food processor and could use a new one!

As of now I do not have any Farberware and I do not have a food processor. I do know that if I had a food processor it would be a grand help when it came to making bread and also for making my gazpacho soup.

I can’t wait to see why you were gone! Shockingly, I don’t own a food rocessor so I would use it for EVERYTHING!!! Love this!

  16. Welcome back Kate! You were missed – although I have to say you left off with one of my favorite recipes. I can’t tell you how many times I have stuffed a pumpkin with everything good in the past few months! 😉 As for my favorite Faberware item…my giant skillet. Great giveaway!

  17. What a gorgeous looking food processor! I haven’t tried any Farberware products yet but would love to. This food processor sounds wonderful, I would use it for chopping onions, chipping herbs, slicing cabbage for cole slaw, puree vegetable to thicken my soup, etc. I can imagine that would make my life much easier!

  18. I’m so glad you’re back for the new year! I’ve missed your posts and was worried for a bit but I’m glad your doing well. We used to have a couple farberware knives at the restaurant I worked at, once sharpened they do a tough job and are pretty sturdy. Happy New Year Kate!

  19. I have lots of their utensils and an old, old pan. I use my decrepit old food processor for dough, soup making, sauce making, pesto… you name it. It’s probably 15 years old (maybe even more); I could def use a new one! Love the smaller bowl option.

I’m finally getting a kitchen of my own…a new food processor would go awesome in it! Since I’ve never really had to buy kitchen stuff I would like tips on what are some good quality brands for kitchen gadgets!!!

  21. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?!?!?!?!? We’ve missed you! HUGS!!! and Happy New Year! 😀 (I don’t own any Farberware products… all the more reason that I should win this giveaway. LOL)
