Coffee: One of life’s simple, extraordinary pleasures!

Remember that time we talked about coffee? And that other time we talked about coffee? How about that time we talked about Georgia Coffee??
Seems that you and I like to talk about coffee…

Also? Have I told you that I’m often told that I look like my Mom? ‘Cause I do. What’s better is that I often tell myself, “I sound like Mom!” And I do!  Wait. It gets better.
I also DO things as my Mom! Here comes the revelation; Good Lawwwwd, I AM my MOM!

Well…I mean… I’m a pretty amazing person (do you hear my sarcasm?) so it can’t be that bad to be like my awesome Mom, right?

And, just as my Mom, I am a morning person. I LOVE waking up at the crack of dawn and getting things done. My mornings are extra special thanks to a good dose of dark chocolate and a quick run for a few cups of Gold Peak Coffee.

My morning cup with Georgia Coffee has now become my morning cup with Gold Peak Coffee. It’s the same coffee, with a different name and available in new markets. Not to worry, it is still made with quality Arabica beans, and it is just as beautiful, smooth, dark, and flavorful.

There’s something to be said about that cup o’ Joe first thing in the morning. It not only awakens the senses, but it also reminds me of those days back home when my Mom and Dad would sit in the back yard, sipping on coffee and discussing world issues. Or their issues with me and the mile-long phone bills… that’s for another post.

But, Gold Peak Coffee, with all its charm, is perfect and it embodies that homey-feeling of comfort and warmth. I enjoy it in the morning, mid-morning, noon, afternoon, nightcap, etc… Don’t judge – I like my coffee. A lot.

I am a huge fan of their Dark Roast. It’s rich, distinct, full-bodied with hints of chocolate character. Pretty amazing stuff. I admit – the chocolate-bit reeled me in. Come on, though… doesn’t that sound like something you’d love to sip on? Besides, a coffee that evokes comfort feelings of home is always welcome! Gold Peak Coffee does just that, even when you’re eating out.

So. Tell me. How does coffee bring YOU comfort? Do you like to enjoy it with friends? First thing in the morning? Nightcap?? DO TELL! I want to know!

  1. I just tried your gold peak coffee at restaurant in California and it was great not bitter or strong now I would like to be able to have it at home and was wondering where I can purchase some?

  2. That’s a lovely cup of coffee and you ‘sell it’ so well. 🙂

I don’t know that I can claim to LOVE coffee. I just drink in every day … 3, 4 or 5 cups if I’m home. Of course, it’s instant (Nescafe) and since I broke the glass carafe of my mom’s old coffee machine, I couldn’t make a pot of coffee with beans even if I wanted to cause those “one size fits all” replacement carafes from Walmart are too big for my machine. It seems so wasteful to pit the rest of the machine (even though it’s useless) and spend money for a new one when I can just keep buying the instant.
