Mah goodness. That right there is a big bowl of wonderful that is going to change the way you choose your deli meats, friends.

I mean, what can I say? Chef’s Salad may not be the world’s best amazing salad (YES it is!), but it is what I want to eat all day, every day. This classic American salad wins my heart each and every time.

Let’s get right down to it. I adore this salad for many reasons. One of them being that you can actually just clean out your cheeses-and-meats-fridge-drawer and toss those around with bacon, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, and a homemade Italian dressing for a quick salad-as-a-main-meal-situation.

But allow me to back up a bit. Mainly because we need to speak about how everyone needs a deli meats and cheeses fridge drawer, and how said drawer should include these guys, and ONLY these guys ⤵⤵⤵

Lately, I’ve been eating Hawaiian pizza fairly often. Ham and pineapple make such a great flavor combination! I also add macadamia nuts, coconut, Swiss cheese and arugula!

My favorite lunches are sandwiches! I like to spread mayo and mustard on a French roll and add ham and cheese! Turkey and roast beef are always delicious as well! You can’t beat a good sandwich!

  7. Heather Amos

My favorite way to enjoy lunch meats is on Salads, as Sandwiches, on crackers with or with out cheese, just by itself as a snack. Any way I can think of.

I am a classist, I like a ham sandwich with German mustard and cheddar cheese ever single time it’s offered. I do like the look of your salad though and obviously influenced by you I made a very similar one yesterday. So, I can now say that I really like ham and Cardini’s dressing too,

  9. Amber Ratliff

My favorite way to enjoy lunchmeat is what my family calls a tortilla roll up. You take a large tortilla and smear cream cheese all over. Then a layer of whichever lunch meat you prefer ( I love ham!). After that, you top with the diced green chiles you get in a can. Then roll it up and cut it into 1 inch pieces. You can eat it like that, but to make it even more delicious, we dip it in our favorite salsa! So yum!

  10. Linda Szymoniak

My favorite way to eat lunch meat is still sandwiches. My all-time favorite sandwich is the Monte Cristo.

  11. Shawna

Looks like the salad I eat a lot on my LC diet plan and the comment of adding beets is a great idea, making sure they do not have any added sugar.

  17. Chi Shannon

I usually like my lunch meats in a big, hero sandwich! Mix and match the meats with some cheeses, tomato, lettuce, mayo… 🙂 but this salad has me thinking I can have more variety with my lunch meat meals! 🙂

  18. Michele Cupp

I”m a big fan of subs, and make them fairly often, with all different lunch meats and toppings, but my fave lunch meat sandwich always has on it turkey and avocado.

  32. Deborah Stiegman

I’ve been buying Hormel’s Natural Choice Lunchmeats for many years now. You’re chef salad is absolutely delicious. I’ve made it, & highly recommend it. I like to use ham & turkey in either salads; such as chef salads. I also occasionally enjoy ham & turkey with spicy mustard on slices of multi-grain/whole grain organic bread. I try to eat “organic” 100% of the time. The taste of fruits & veggies is remarkably so much tastier, as well as everything else “organic!”

  33. Ronald Gagnon

Definitely cooled paprika added egg salad sandwichs….great for summer lunch or supper…with soup or just alone

  34. Christy Peeples DuBois
