Hello?! Hello?! Is anyone out there? Probably not. But, that’s okay, I understand. I went missing for a year, and you probably moved on and started to follow other super-fabulous food blogs. It’s all good – I would have done the same.
BUT, I have an ADORABLE reason for being away for so long…
Meet my baby girl, Aleksandra! ♥
She was born on June 4, 2012, 8 pounds 7 ounces, and 20.5 inches long. Yep, she is my chubster! 🙂
I waited to share the news with you because I wanted to get a good schedule going for us before returning to my blog. I’m happy to report that she is sleeping 5-6 hours at night! Yay! I also wanted to make sure that Ana, my 3 year old, was signed up, registered, and ready to go to preschool because that is the only way that I will be able to blog, bake, breathe, eat… She’s my princess…on speed. 😉
What’s up with all the Instagram photos, you say? Well, these days it’s a lot easier to just reach for my phone and catch that “Kodak Moment” before Ana runs away and Aleksandra decides to scream for food, again. I snap photos with my other camera, too, but that’s only when these two ladies are sound asleep, and a light shines through the oven door.
So, on that note, I am going to finish off this post with some photos of what’s to come in the next few days, hoping that you will read it, make it, and love it. If you are still out there, that is. 😉
