  • Vanilla Extract: Infuses the yogurt with a warm flavor that complements the berries.
  • Fresh Lemon Juice: Gives a hint of zestiness, brightening up the flavors and adding a refreshing note.
  • Salt: Just a pinch. It enhances all the other flavors, making the sweetness and tartness pop.
  • Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries: These add juicy bursts of flavor and natural sweetness, plus they make the bark look colorful and inviting!
  • Pecans & Granola: If you want some crunch and nuttiness, sprinkle these over the top before freezing.

Tips & Variations

  • Yogurt: Feel free to experiment with flavored yogurts and different types of yogurt.
  • Sweeteners: If agave isn’t your thing, substitute with honey, maple syrup, or any sweetener you choose. Adjust the quantity according to taste.
  • Berry Varieties: Don’t limit yourself to the listed berries; feel free to mix in other fruits.
  • Texture: For an even consistency, ensure the yogurt mixture is smoothed out evenly on the baking sheet to avoid thin or thick spots.
  • Serving: Use a pizza cutter for easy and quick cutting of the bark into pieces. It works like a charm.
  • Storage Hack: Store the bark pieces between layers of parchment paper in an airtight container to keep them from sticking together in the freezer.

How To Serve Yogurt Bark

  • Break Into Pieces: Use your hands or a knife to break the bark into desired size pieces. For a cleaner cut, use a sharp knife to cut it into squares or rectangles.
  • Serving Style: Lay the pieces out on a serving tray but not overlapping to prevent them from sticking together.
  • Garnish: If desired, garnish with a sprinkle of extra toppings or a drizzle of honey or chocolate to elevate the visual appeal and flavor.
  • Serve Immediately: Since yogurt bark melts fairly quickly at room temperature, serve it immediately. Use it as a refreshing appetizer or a cool snack on a warm day.

Storage

  • Keep any leftover bark pieces in the freezer to maintain their texture and freshness.
